Day 0 Departure from Delhi to Manali (Overnight Journey)
Assemble at the designated boarding point in Delhi and meet your Trip Captain.
Begin an overnight journey to Manali by Volvo/Tempo Traveller, enjoying the scenic route through the Himalayan foothills.
Day 1 Drive from Manali to Jobra and Trek to Chika
- Reporting Point: Old Manali (09:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
- Altitude: 9,800 ft to 10,100 ft
- After breakfast and briefing, drive for around 2 hours to reach Jobra, the starting point of the trek.
- Begin your short trek through pine, maple, and birch forests along the beautiful Rani River.
- Arrive at the campsite in Chika and enjoy the serene surroundings.
- Overnight Stay: Camping at Chika.
Day 2 Trek from Chika to Balu Ka Ghera
- Start your trek after breakfast, following the Rani Nallah stream with mesmerizing views of the Dhauladhar range.
- Cross lush meadows, rocky paths, and vibrant alpine flower fields.
- Arrive at the wide-open campsite of Balu Ka Ghera, surrounded by snow-clad peaks.
- Enjoy evening tea and dinner under a starlit Himalayan sky.
- Overnight Stay: Camping at Balu Ka Ghera.
Day 3 Trek from Balu Ka Ghera to Siagoru via Hampta Pass Summit
- Altitude: Up to 14,100 ft (Hampta Pass Summit)
- This is the toughest yet most rewarding day of the trek — a steep ascent to the Hampta Pass.
- Enjoy breathtaking views of glaciers, valleys, and surrounding peaks from the summit.
- After spending time at the top, descend into the contrasting landscapes of Lahaul Valley.
- Reach Siagoru campsite nestled amid barren mountains.
- Overnight Stay: Camping at Siagoru.
Day 4 Trek from Siagoru to Chatru & Drive to Chandratal Lake
- Trek downhill from Siagoru to Chatru — a stunning junction of Spiti, Lahaul, and Kullu valleys.
- Have lunch at Chatru and begin your drive towards the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake (subject to road conditions).
- Explore the enchanting “Moon Lake” and capture its surreal beauty.
- Drive back to Chatru campsite and relax after an adventurous day.
- Overnight Stay: Camping at Chatru.
Day 5 Drive from Chatru to Manali | Return Journey
- After breakfast, start your scenic drive back to Manali via Atal Tunnel or Rohtang Pass.
- Witness the transition from barren Spiti to lush Kullu Valley landscapes.
- Arrive in Manali by late morning or early afternoon.
- End the trip with unforgettable memories of the Hampta Pass adventure.
